Any time (more accurately, every time) I introduce Ruthie as our youngest child, she immediately corrects me. "No! MONSTER is the youngest!"
I have to quickly explain I don't actually have a 5th child I'd forgotten about -- one that I named 'Monster' -- and that Monster is our cat.
He does seem more human every day though...
